First off, it's an absolute pleasure to meet you! I'm Ariel Yining Loh, a 25 years young content creator.

How This Blog Began

When my best friend from college moved away, I realized that while we WERE still capable of texting, it didn't really provide me with a good way to keep her updated on what was going on. You know how we only text our friends when something exciting happens and kind of leave out the mundane that they're actually still somewhat interested in?

I decided to take the plunge, one uneventful evening, and after thinking it through, realized that the effort I was putting in could be used to keep far away friends updated as well! Given the fact that I live in a college town, I have many friends that I've made over the years who come and go with a 4 year time limit, many of whom actually MISS the daily happenings of our life in our little town.

Blogging Schedule

I try to keep the blog ongoing as the one constant activity I do, because real life never stops and I'd like my blog to reflect what I go through as much as possible.

I write (on schedule):

#MusicMondays / #MovieMondays : possibly to be renamed #MediaMondays
I essentially fangirl rant to you about media-related topics / artists that I'm excited for

#WeeklyWednesdays
I share about daily life and what's happened in the past week. This typically involves food, activities, or deeper thoughts that I feel like sharing.

I showcase artists, products, and other things (it honestly varies) that I'm loving at the moment

Occasionally, when life gets the better of me and things are super busy, I have no internet, or I get sick, I post a "cheat" post for #MusicMondays and #FeatureFridays. Unfortunately, #WeeklyWednesdays get skipped at those times because there's no sneaky way around a post of that type.

Updated as of Feb 19, 2018: I am temporarily on hiatus as I'm having difficulty finding dedicated blog time (via computer) due to an increase in academic and social activities. For now, I'm continuing the "blogging" via Facebook.
